Warner Brothers lines up the stars for Suicide Squad.
Most of the team is made of classic Batman villains but you may ask who is Rick Flag?
Flag is actually three generations of men connected to Suicide Squad. The original Flag and founding member was a World War II unit leader then he joined what was then called Task Force X.
Flag Junior lead two versions of the squad and the grandson has a strained relationship with his father.
Flag has no super powers but is in top physical condition with expertise in military strategy, weapons, combat and infiltration tactics. Colonel Flag led the Silver Age team and was a member of modern incarnations of the team.
Karin Grace is Flag’s love interest and member of the original team. In the next generation version Grace had a child with Flag.
Modern readers know Amanda “The Wall” Waller as the government liaison for the covert team of villains but it could be Flag who is the field leader as the team takes on missions as part of their sentencing.
