Where was Simmons?
Dr. Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) was abducted by a strange artifact of the Inhumans and thrown on an alien planet…or was she?
Simmons was rescued by the team in a bold rescue plan by Dr. Leo Fitz.
Simmons obviously endured traumatic experiences. What happened to her? What did she do to survive?
On this week’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. producers will reveal how Simmons survived on this strange blue world evading aliens. Will we learn where Jemma was on how it connects to the big picture of the series and the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Here are four alien worlds from comics where we think Jemma could have been:
The Realm of Thanos?
The Mad God of Titan has appeared in The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Avengers: Age of Ultron seemingly in the other dimension or world and uses operatives like Loki, the Chitauri leader, Ronan and Nebula to enforce his agenda. Is this a prison or is Thanos trapped in a barrier he needs the Infinity Gauntlet to break? Did the Inhuman artifact transport Jemma to this mystery realm…and what if Thanos learns there’s a gateway from here to Earth and follows here?
Hala?
We saw Ronan and Korath Guardians of the Galaxy and even a Kree agent on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Inhumans were created by this imperialistic alien race. What if Jemma was transported to the blue homeworld of a the blue-skinned alien race that factor into the mythology of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Blue Area of the Moon?
A million years ago the Kree and Cotati competed in this Earth-like artificial environment on the far side of the moon. The Kree created a huge city and later slaughtered their rivals. The Inhumans relocated their city of Attilan from the to this remote area of the moon.
Titan?
Thanos and the Eternals were born on Titan, a moon of Saturn. The Eternals are superhuman evolutionary offshoots. The Deviants are their equally powerful but sinister rivals born on Earth. Both were created by Celestials. If Jemma escaped this realm could it lead the Mad God to Earth.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC.
