James McAvoy returns as Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men: Apocalypse.

In X-Men: Days of Future Past there a moment between McAvoy and Patrick Stewart you could call the passing on of the role.

McAvoy may be becoming more like Stewart and the Xavier we all knew from comics. He may go bald.

The sequel is set for 2016. So far that’s all the star knows in a new interview.

“I’ll be older in this one,” McAvoy told Huffington Post, “[And] I think I’m losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that’s kind of all I know.”

The new film is set in the 1980’s. No word on how Xavier will lose his hair in the film. Xavier was always bald in comics.

Apocalypse (En Sabah Nur is his real name) was seen in the post-credits sequence of the most recent film. You can pre-order it here.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits in May 2016 starring the First Class cast.
