Viola Davis (How to Get Away With Murder) is lined up as “The Wall” in Suicide Squad.
After months of speculation the star confirmed she’s playing Amanda Waller in the Warner Brothers film.
While on the red carpet for the Oscars the star confirmed to CTV she will be filming in Toronto. You see Davis and her husband give an affirmative here.
Waller is the ruthless government operative running the covert agency with villains going on secret missions as part of their sentence.
The team will include Jared Leto as Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang.
Joel Kinnaman is rumored to a replacement for Tom Hardy who dropped out of playing Rick Flag.
David Ayer is directing.
