“THE SUMMER OF 4001 A.D.” prepares to wage war across the future of the Valiant Universe. X-O Manowar and Bloodshot lead the charge with the first of four all-star one-shots.
As revealed today at Emerald City Comicon 2016, Valiant presented a first look inside 4001 A.D.: X-O MANOWAR #1 and 4001 A.D.: BLOODSHOT #1 – two self-contained one-shots coming directly out of the publisher’s ambitious comics event, 4001 A.D.
Beginning this May, the future of the Valiant Universe’s biggest icons is revealed as a stunning cast of creative talents joins Matt Kindt and Clayton Crain’s stunning vision of the 41st century…and launches X-O Manowar and Bloodshot into Rai’s insurrection against Father and the tyrannical reign of New Japan.
After 4001 A.D. #1 (of 4) arrives May 4th, Earth’s most powerful hero joins the fray one week later on May 11th in 4001 A.D.: X-O MANOWAR #1 – a one-shot epic from writer Robert Venditti (BOOK OF DEATH) and Valiant-exclusive artist Clayton Henry.
