Fans will have to wait until after Secret Wars for the finale of the Brian Michael Bendis X-Men era.
The writer confirmed via Tumblr that Uncanny X-Men #600 will not ship until October.
“…it was bumped until after secret wars for editorial and commercial reasons. not my call. this was marvel. but they have their reasons.”
“it will not effect the story or the impact of the story. in fact it may have more impact on how things shake out after my run.”
It was originally scheduled for this week.
Uncanny X-Men #34 arrives Wednesday with issue 35 “right behind.”
The final issue will go back to original numbering for the milestone 600th issue called The Trial of Hank McCoy.
