Lex Luthor and Doomsday are big threats as the Man of Steel and Dark Knight are punching each other in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

It appears the billionaire genius orchestrates the war between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent while transforming Zod into the infamous Superman powerhouse known as Doomsday.

Wonder Woman joins the fight while Cyborg, Aquaman and The Flash have cameos.

Director Zack Snyder reveal two classic Batman villains almost made the big screen showdown.

“The Joker and The Riddler came close to being in this movie. We talked about the possibility of putting them in. (Screenwriter) Chris Terrio and I talked about it a lot and felt that their mythological presence is felt in the movie and it’s cool, but I didn’t want to get my eye too far off teh ball because I need to spend time, frankly, with Batman and Superman to understand the conflict.” Snyder told Collider.

After the final trailer, one of the biggest questions is did the Joker kill a “Robin” when we see a statue of the sidekick covered with a message spray painted by what might be the Clown Prince of Crime.

The Joker (Jared Leto) will appear in Suicide Squad this August. The film featuring an all-villain team with feature Batman in flashbacks. No word on if Riddler might appear in an upcoming DC Comics Universe. Jim Carrey played Riddler in Batman Forever. Cory Michael Smith is playing a younger Edward Nygma on Gotham. The Riddler was the main villain of Zero Year, The New 52 Batman origin story by fan-favorite comics team Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens Friday.
