INFINITY #2 hits this week!
If you got a copy of Marvel’s Infinity Free Comic Book Day preview book or saw Infinity #1 you saw what happens when a tribute is paid to Thanos: death…a lot of death.
Infinity #2 by Jonathan Hickman and Dustin Weaver picks up the action. Adam Kubert’s cover shows Captain America leading the interstellar forces against Thanos!
But the teaser includes an ominous line:
“The Inhumans pay tribute”
Thanos discovered Black Bolt’s greatest secret in the first issue and in this preview of Infinity #2 the Black Order has invaded Attilan.
Dustin Weaver (Jonathan Hickman’s artist on SHIELD) shows Corvus Glaive confronting Medusa in the ruins of the Inhumans’ home in the pages below.
But where is Black Bolt?
The Inhuman leader and his fellow Illuminati (Tony Stark, Black Panther, Reed Richards, Dr. Strange) have been trying to protect Earth from incursions from alternate worlds and now they’re the first line of defense against Thanos and his Black Order.
Could this be the end of the Inhumans as we know it? The next chapter arrives Wednesday.
