Age of Ultron #2 The greatest Avengers enemy has won. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are broken. Hawkeye was an absolute badass in the premiere. Can Clint rally the Captain America and the survivors to fight back?

____
Batman #18
Will Damian’s horrific death drive Bruce over the edge? Breakout character Harper Rowe returns. This tough teen from The Narrows saved Batman before. Can Harper save Bruce again after Robin’s murder. Guest artist Andy Kubert joins Scott Snyder for the issue that could signal the future of the Batman family.

(Even though these are two separate books I’m counting them as one!)

Batman and Robin #18  You could call this the “under the radar” book. While Batman and Batman Inc have garnered all the media coverage this series by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason became of my favorite DC books. How will the book focusing on the father and son dynamic continue? I’m looking forward to seeing how Tomasi will move this series forward.

_______
Manhattan Projects #10
Creating the atom bomb was just the cover for the bizarre experiments conducted by the mad scientists as reimagined by Jonathan Hickman. Some of this series most shocking acts have been committed by Oppenheimer. This is an issue diving into the war inside Oppenheimer’s mind – be very afraid!

________

Star Wars #3 Han and Chewbacca are in danger when Luke and Leia clash over the mission to expose an Imperial spy in the rebel fleet! Brian Wood continues his new adventure set in between the event of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.

Ultimate Comics: Wolverine #1 Jimmy Hudson claws into his past to learn the truth. Cullen Bunn shakes the Wolverine family tree!

(Ok I’m cheating but I’m counting this as one since they’re both number ones!)

Wolverine #1 Logan drawn by Alan Davis. That’s good enough for me! On top of having Wolverine drawn by a legend, Paul Cornell is writing Logan’s new solo book!
