Fantastic Four #1  James Robinson (Starman, The Golden Age, Justice Society of America, Earth 2, All-New Invaders) and Leonard Kirk launch a new vision and series starring Marvel’s First Family.  It’s a new beginning as the end begins for Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben. George Romero’s Empire of the Dead: Act One #2 The King of Zombie fiction brings his latest undead epic to Marvel with art by Alex Maleev. Welcome to New York where there’s something evil deadlier than a horde of zombies feasting on the survivors in the Big Apple.

Superman: Lois Lane #1 The star reporter’s next big story could be her own family as her father and sister are caught up in conspiracies. Is Lois still under the influence of Brainiac? Marguerite Bennett writes a one-shot starring one the most iconic women in comics who deserves a shot at her own ongoing series.

The Massive #20 Brian Wood has shown us sunken cities and piracy ruling the oceans in his near future world ravaged by environmental disasters. Now the hero is separated from his crew and on the run across the crumbling cities of Europe. Callum starts to discover what caused “the Crash” and may get closer t solving the mystery of his long-lost sister ship and crew.

Origin II #3 The untold tale of the wild man who will become Wolverine by Kieron Gillen and Adam Kubert. James Howlett came out of the wild and he’s a caged beast but closer to regaining his humanity. How will Logan’s future be shaped by the twisted scientist who will become one of the X-Men’s greatest enemies.

Tomb Raider #1 Lara Croft’s adventures pick after the events of the game in a brand new series by writer Gail Simone (Batgirl, Birds of Prey, Red Sonja) with art by Nicholas Daniel Selma from Dark Horse Comics.

Uncanny Avengers #17  The ending of Ragnarok Now! Thor and Captain America vs. The Apocalypse Twins was just a warm-up! How can these Avengers hope to stop a Celestial? Rick Remender’s bizarre, time twisted epic evolves again as he now takes you to Planet X.

Wolverine and the X-Men #42 School’s out as Jason Aaron leaves Logan and the kids behind after an epic run on joyful series. What will happen to the students of the Jean Grey School?

The Wake #6  It’s finally – the second half Scott Snyder and Sean Murpy’s sci-fi horror epic! Can you tell I’m exited? The first half felt like a story from The X-Files directed by Guillermo Del Toro. The story jumps 200 years into the future after the globe-changing effects of the last issue. How has our heroine and world changed in a monster flooded future?
