What would you do if you were given a gun and 100 untraceable bullets to solve yours? That’s the question in 100 BULLETS by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso. The mysterious Agent Graves approaches someone who has been wronged with the offer, gun and unmarked bullets. As the series builds we learn more about Graves and a bigger covert organization. The crime and conspiracy series ran for 100 issues until its conclusion in 2009.
Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises, Mad Max: Fury Road) was signed up then exited Suicide Squad but has joined this comics inspired film as producer and with an eye to star. The film does have a script by writer Chris Borelli.
New Line is producing and developing films based on Vertigo, while Warner Bros. is focusing on DC Comics. This is the first Vertigo film news since that announcement, though a Sandman movie with Joseph Gordon-Levitt was announced as being in development prior.
