Marvel is moving ahead with plans for a third solo adventure starring Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder.
Craig Kyle was an executive producer of the previous films and is a Senior V.P. of production and development. Kyle will co-write Thor 3 according to The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision. Kyle joins Christopher Yost, co-writer of Thor: The Dark World.
Kyle and Yost are known for creating X-23 in the X-Men: Evolution animated series. The clone “daughter” of Wolverine made the leap to comic books and current stars in All-New X-Men. The duo wrote New-X-Men, X-Force and the X-Men spinoff Emperor Vulcan. Yost went on to write Spider-Man comics.

No word on a story or date yet. With a team that could create such a breakthrough female character like X-23 maybe it could mean a greater role for Lady Sif (Jaime Alexander) or introduce a new female member of Thor’s rogues gallery like Amora the Enchantress or Hela, Goddess of the Underworld.
