The Walking Dead television series continues to shock and awe and NOT follow the comic book storylines.
In Season Three fans were expecting (maybe hoping) for the death of the Governor in the Woodbury group’s attack on Rick and his group of survivors in the prison. The Governor and two of his lieutenants took off after surviving the assault and the leader wiping out most of his most devoted followers.
David Morrissey will return as a series regular on the fourth season according to The Hollywood Reporter. What does that mean for next season’s storylines? How will the Governor continue to be a threat without the Woodbury army? Could he become allied with “The Hunters?” if Robert Kirkman decides to use that comic book storyline next?
