What will he learn about the criminal overlord and assassin known as Grendel?
Fans will have a killer time finding out when these classic characters meet up in a brand new series from Dynamite Entertainment and Dark Horse Comics as reported by The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision.
The Shadow is the 1940’s pulp hero. Grendel is the acclaimed anti-hero born in the 1980’s. Grendel creator Matt Wagner will write the 3-issue series.
“I’ve been a huge fan of The Shadow for many, many years and my love of the character finally saw fruition when I got the chance to literally re-define his origins by writing The Shadow: Year One,” Wagner said about the upcoming crossover “to have the chance to both write and draw The Shadow facing my own creation is something of a dream come true.”
Watch for this first in a series of company crossovers in 2014.
