New Comic Book Picks for January 31, 2018

This will be a very strange new comic book day for me. After going to the same friendly comic book shop for 19 years, I will going somewhere new for comics. Seattle’s Zanadu Comics closed its doors after 42 years last week. I’m still searching for a new comic in the Emerald City like looking for a perfect match on a dating app. Thanks to Perry and the Zanadu crew and may you find success in your next chapters.

And the picks for this week?

Before movies came comics. Many of the writers and artists who inspired today’s biggest box-office hits were inspired in the racks at small stores. Now fans can share in the source of power that fuels our favorite movies and shows.
