Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) goes back in time next year in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Marvel is taking you back into Logan’s past in Origin II this December.

 

Writer Kieron Gillen (Uncanny X-Men, Iron Man) and artist Adam Kubert team up to explore a “lost” tale of the mutant’s youth and his first encounter with a scientist who will become one of the X-Men’s greatest enemies.

 

It’s been a decade since the groundbreaking Origin – the story that finally revealed Wolverine’s early life and identity. Singer confirmed via Twitter ahead that Warpath, Sunspot and Ink will appear in the movie joining the previously announced Bishop, Quicksilver and Blink.

X-Men: Days of Future Past – the trailer is here. Based on the story by Chris Claremont, mutants from an apocalyptic future go into the past to change history and save the mutant race from extinction.

 

Director Bryan Singer returns to the X-family to unite the casts of the original X-trilogy and X-Men: First Class.   As you can see by the trailer, Singer and his team were inspired by the classic comic book story but with executed a huge twist in who becomes the blast into the past.   Watch and enjoy:

Director Bryan Singer chatted with fans via Twitter ahead of tomorrow’s trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Here are the 3 big highlights.

 

The huge cast will include new mutants in their cinematic debut. Bishop, Quicksilver and Blink have previously been confirmed. But today Singer said Warpath, Sunspot and Ink will appear in the film.
