Iceman is out and in two big new X-books this month.

Earlier this year, young Bobby Drake came out to young Jean Grey. Young Iceman stars in All-New X-Men while the adult Drake is part of Jeff Lemire’s Extraordinary X-Men team.

The genetic crisis affecting the mutant race is priority but Bobby’s personal life is still on top o of readers minds. A new Marvel age is rising. Time to join the adventure.

If you’re a fan of Avengers, X-Men movies or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series and you wonder “could I enjoy the comics or understand what’s going on?” the answer is a “YES!”

It’s the eve of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now as the publisher restarts with all-new number one issues. You see the Marvel Universe as fans knew it (including all it’s other timelines) came to an end with Secret Wars.

This week marks a new beginning with one Marvel Universe set eight months after the finale of the Wars. For current readers it’s not a reboot but more a refresh. For movie, television fans and new readers it’s a perfect time to head to your comics shop or app to join the new adventures.

X-MEN NO MORE?

Marvel dropped even more news about the fate of mutants after Secret Wars.

After teasing a conflict between Inhumans and X-Men after the big event, Marvel revealed the Terrigen Bomb that triggered the creation of new Inhumans is killing and sterilizing mutants.

Beast will join Uncanny Inhumans, Storm will lead Extraordinary X-Men to save mutants from the new genetic threat. Magneto is leading a very different version of Uncanny X-Menincluding Mystique, Sabretooth, Psylocke and Fantomex.

OLD MAN LOGAN Naked With “Scores To Settle”

The X-Man known as Logan is back in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now but it’s a very different Wolverine.

Green Arrow creative team Jeff Lemire, Andrea Sorrentino and Marcelo Maiolo will reunite on a new Old Man Logan series following Secret Wars.

Lemire told Marvel.com this man is the same man from Mark Millar’s original arc and the current Secret Wars tie-in book by Brian Michael Bendis and “has a few scores to settle.”

In the original story by Millar, Logan was retired with a wife and kids in a future rules by villains who had conquered and killed most of the superheroes. Hawkeye convinced Logan to go on one last road trip mission across a war-torn North America. Logan is on an adventure across the realms of Battleworld in the Bendis story.

Young mutants on the run and rebelling against the X-Men?

In Once and Future Mutants we pondered the fate of the most current class of mutants students (Tempus, Triage, Goldballs, Hijack and Morph) and past “new” mutants that didn’t make it to front burner fandom.

With Marvel‘s November previews we know one Generation Hope graduate and a Jean Grey School alum are officially part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now this Fall.

Oya and Evan is on the run with the All-New X-Men (young Iceman, Beast, Angel and X-23) in issue three.

Even Negasonic Teenage Warhead is starring in a movie and she appeared in only one X-Men issue. (Well she kinda made a brief comeback in Emma’s psychic guilt nightmare)

Are the Children of the Atom mutating into a live-action television series?

Fox is getting closer to a X-Men television show.

“[For] X-Men, we’re in negotiations with Marvel. We’re hopeful we’ll be able to announce something soon. We’re not closed on a deal yet but it’s something we’re definitely pursuing,” Fox Television Group chairman and CEO Dana Walden told The Hollywood Reporter on at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour stop.
