Daniel Cudmore armors up as Colossus again in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The fan favorite mutant can transform into organic steel. Colossus is among the mutants in a dark future fighting an onslaught of Sentinels.

In a new ABC News interview Cudmore was asked if he was a hardcore reader of the comics. Cudmore reveals his first experience with the X-Men was the classic animated series:

“I wouldn’t say devoted but I when I was younger I always remember the cartoon was on exactly at 3 o’clock and my elementary school was at the bottom of this really long hills so I sprinted home Continue reading DANIEL CUDMORE On X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Deathbird shows up at death’s door at The Peak. Abigail Brand of S.W.O.R.D. calls in the mutants. It’s part of the new X-writer’s plan to take the women of the atom to new heights.

Marc Guggenheim (Arrow) takes over for Brian Wood on the series. The new X-Men writer is taking inspiration from the past for his upcoming arc starring the all-female team.

“The idea really came from the fact that I’d been jonesing for an ‘X-Men in space’ story as a reader,” says Guggenheim. “I’d been re-reading the ‘Brood Saga’ and it reminded me how much I love that concept of the X-Men in outer space. Continue reading X-MEN In Space By MARC GUGGENHEIM

Who would have thought of all the Marvel characters Quicksilver would be the most sought after and and appear in two major movie franchises.

Evan Peters will play the mutant speedster in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Aaron Taylor-Johnson will portray him in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Both versions will be very different.

In DOFP Wolverine will recruit Peter Maximoff for his super speed to break Magneto (Michael Fassbender) out of prison under the Pentagon in the 1970’s.
