For your consideration:

With a leading man in James McAvoy (Wanted, The Last King of Scotland) maybe it’s time to see some of the women in Professor X’s life in X-Men: Apocalypse or perhaps a spinoff starring Charles Xavier?

Dr. Moira Kinross MacTaggert is a great lost love and colleague but she’s was played briefly by Olivia Wilde in X-Men: The Last Stand. Moira was an America CIA operative played by Rose Byrne in X-Men: First Class. Perhaps Moira can have he telepathic blocked memories rekindled for a sequel that reunites her with Charles. Of all the Marvel heroes who would have thought Quicksilver would be the co-star of two major movie franchises and the eye of storm among fans.

Shortly after Joss Whedon revealed Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) would appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron…fans learned Quicksilver (Evan Peters) would be in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The twins are the children of Magneto who first appeared in the X-Men comics but later reformed and became Avengers so both Marvel Studios and Fox can use them.

Both versions of Quicksilver will differ from his comic book origins. X-Men Producer/writer Simon Kinberg says they had not anticipated the mixed fan reaction to having the mutant speedster in the sequel Continue reading QUICKSILVER CONTROVERSY In X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

The globetrotting stars of X-Men: Days of Future Past are racing to premiere events on nearly every continent. Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Peter Dinklage (Bolivar Trask) brought the X-Men experience to Melbourne, Australia.

Jackman and Dinklage took fan questions and even ones from co-stars Patrick Stewart, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore with host Marc Fennell.

The two stars share some comic moments of life on set filming the massive sequel but Jackman may have my favorite recollection of working with Christopher Nolan on The Prestige before two rival super hero franchises were born.
