X-Men vs. Inhumans – it’s on as just one of the battles in Civil War II.

The seeds of war were sown as soon as the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now emerged. In the aftermath of Secret Wars, we learned the Terrigen Cloud that was creating new Inhumans was attacking mutant DNA. Storm is leading her Extraordinary X-Men to rescue and take mutants to X-Haven while Magneto’s Uncanny X-Men are taking on a corporation profiting from the genetic crisis.

Cyclops is presumed dead after attacking the Inhumans. Beast is actually working with Medusa in Uncanny Inhumans.

EXTRAORDINARY X-MEN INHUMAN SHOCKER

Mister Sinister returned in Extraordinary X-Men #4 to deliver a shocking twist in the Mutant/Inhuman conflict.

Writer Jeff Lemire gave X-fans a “gift” in the Christmas week book and final issue of the year.

The mutant race is on the fast track to extinction again. The Terrigen Mists creating new Inhumans are killing and sterilizing mutants. Cyclops attacked the Inhumans and now he’s been  declared dead.

In this week’s chapter, Ororo, Old Man Logan, Jean and Iceman went to rescue Nightcrawler, Colossus and Magik from Sinister and his new Marauders.

As we count down to Christmas there’s a sleigh full of new comics at your local comic book shop this week including two new books based on classic sci-fi films, a bloody showdown between heroes in Robin War and let’s kick it off with the the rise of Wonder Woman when the Justice League fall prey to ultimate power.
