From Captain Kirk to Colonel Steve Trevor.

Chris Pine has reached an agreement to join the DC Comics Movie Universe as Steve Trevor according to The Wrap. Warner Brothers has not made an official announcement yet.

Pine will star opposite Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman with possible sequels as part of the deal.

Patty Jenkins is directing the solo film starring the Amazon warrior following Diana Prince’s debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Warner Brothers and director Zack Snyder unveiled the new trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. and this new image of the DC icons.

The cast met fans at the DC Entertainment panel and booth at Comic-Con.

The trailer reveals what will cause the battle between the heroes. Events in Man of Steel inspired Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) to come back as the Dark Knight while Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) is on a mission to uncover the truth about the Batman.

The new trailer gives us our first look at Gal Gadot as Diana Prince and Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and….KRYPTONITE!

Gal Gadot is playing a DC icon, Amazon warrior and the link to the future of the DC movie universe?

The Israeli actress is playing Diana Prince in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, 2016 and soon starts filming Wonder Woman then Justice League, Part One hitting screens in 2017.

Wonder Woman will be the first comic book superhero to headline her own film in decades and first in this new age where Marvel and DC duke it out for box-office supremacy.

“She plays a super-important part,” Snyder told Entertainment Weekly,” In a lot of ways, she’s the gateway drug to the rest of the Justice League.”

New arc, new direction and a costume for the Queen of the Amazons in Wonder Woman #41 this week. It’s the latest new look for a major DC icon in this month of relaunches and new titles.

While the Man of Steel is powered down, more casual and showing more skin and a new man is under armor as a new Batman – Wonder Woman is armored and more covered up than ever.

Watch for the debut of a new villain debuts in this week’s new issue by creative team Meredith and David Finch.

Who is the enemy that “…may be new to us, but not new to the world he seeks to tame” while Diana must contend with Donna Troy’s plot to destroy her. Will Star Trek’s Chris Pine beam down to Earth for Warner Brothers and DC Comics Wonder Woman film opposite Gal Gadot.

Pine is in talks to join the project as Steve Trevor according to Variety although the studio did not comment. Patty Jenkins is directing the solo film starring the Amazon warrior.

In comics Steve Trevor was U.S. Army Intelligence officer who crashed on Paradise Island in World War II. Diana rescued him, nursed him back to health and followed him back to America. In modern continuity Trevor is Diana’s government liaison officer and with the Justice League on behalf of the United Nations. Steve falls in love with Wonder Woman but is humiliated when she chooses Superman.
