X-MEN EXODUS?

Are the X-Men about to have an exodus?

Are the Jean Grey School and Xavier School closing their doors?

In the just announced November previews, Avengers & X-Men: AXIS #4 see the X-Men “join their greatest foe” and in #5 “claim a new home.”

This is the latest clue that could be pointing to the mutants starting over in a new base.

AXIS is the inversion of many Marvel heroes so the tease above could mean the mutants are siding with Apocalypse or aligning with Magneto and finding a new home among old enemies. Continue reading X-MEN EXODUS?

The end is coming for James Howlett as the Death of Wolverine approaches.
Marvel already teased a new hero will rise to become the new Captain America  but can anyone take Logan’s place?

There’s no official word from Marvel on if a new hero will take the code-name and carry on Logan’s legacy but we’ve been looking at heroes and villains who could become The Next Wolverine.

This next suggestion came from a Facebook follower: Jubilee. You may be surprised but this character has radically changed from the bratty mall rat who used to be Wolvie’s sidekick. Continue reading THE NEXT WOLVERINE Part 4

This week’s Wolverine #10 is the next chapter of Logan’s final adventures in his solo book by Paul Cornell. Then in September Death of Wolverine #1 by Charles Soule and Steve McNiven reveals the final battle of the once-immortal mutant.

Domino is back!

The luck powered mutant mercenary is blasting her way into X-Force #7 this week.

Domino was part of Cable and X-Force before the reboot into X-Force by Simon Spurrier and Rock He-Kim. She didn’t make the cut when two books ended and the rebirth of a one and only X-Force.

Cable, Psylocke, Fantomex and Marrow have taken on the superhuman arms dealer Volga. Cable’s team is barely surviving the war against their new enemy and each other as tension build among the tightly wound unit.

To win – this team needs a little luck! Continue reading DOMINO Rejoins X-FORCE

Death of Wolverine is coming.

The hero we thought would live forever is very human, mortal and vulnerable after all these years after losing his ability to heal.

The fan-favorite X-Man will finally die in a special series by writer Charles Soule and artist Steve McNiven. Without his mutant healing factor, Logan will take on his greatest enemies in a final battle to the very end. Continue reading DEATH OF WOLVERINE Cover By ED MCGUINNESS

After reading Wolverine #9, the next to last chapter of Three Months to Die, I thought about my next and maybe best candidate for the next Wolverine. No one can replace James Howlett aka Logan but will someone take up the code-name and carry on the X-Man’s legacy?

After Logan’s literal dance with “Death” in this week’s issue I thought of the perfect hero become the next Wolverine.

Laura Kinney aka X-23.

Laura is a clone created from Logan’s DNA (his X-gene to be specific) in a section of the Weapon X program. Born in blood, bred to be an assassin and reborn a hero – Laura would be a student at Xavier’s but would later be recruited (against Logan’s wishes) for the X-Force.
