Hugh Jackman reprises his role as the fan-favorite X-Man. This new film directed by James Mangold is based on the Chris Claremont/Frank Miller story of Logan’s time in Japan.

Logan got deep fried in Wolverine #1 by Paul Cornell and Alan Davis. It appears when this alien weapon of tremendous power gets into the hands of a regular Joe it turns a daddy dearest into a possessed daddy deadliest. Now a little kid is running around New York City with that super weapon. What will Logan have to do stop the reign of terror? We’ll have to keep reading to learn the origin of this weapon but Cornell delivered an ominous tease about the future of Logan’s solo book and this weapon.
When asked by a fan on Comic Book Resources if that weapon will have significance beyond this initial story arc writer Cornell responded:

X-Termination kicks off this week! Three X-Men teams. Three worlds. Three powerhouse writers. The universe is threatened and it will take X-Men from various timelines to save us and stop one of their own. The action begins in X-Termination #1 and rocks into Astonishing X-Men, Age of Apocalypse and X-Treme X-Men. Tao Okamoto plays Mariko, daughter of a Japanese crime lord and Logan’s great love.
Rula Fukushima who plays the wild ronin Yukio.

Age of Ultron just kicked off! Marvel is giving us ominous clues to the shocking, possibly Marvel Universe changing finale in the June previews. Hank Pym’s monstrous creation returned and conquered Earth in Age of Ultron #1. Only a handful of heroes are left to stand against the humanity hating A.I. and his army of robots.
In June’s Age of Ultron #9 heroes are forced to “make the most controversial decision of their lives” and in issue #10 “the biggest secret in comics will be revealed to you! An ending so confidential…even the artists of this book don’t know what lies on the final pages.”
