In The Wolverine we saw a weakened Logan (Hugh Jackman) struggle to survive Yakuza attacks with his healing factor damaged because of the Viper. In the comic books Wolverine is now Killable and the enemies are closing in while Logan is vulnerable.

 

Black Panther and Storm guest star in this week’s Wolverine #8 as Logan hunts for a cure in Wakanda. There will be a fight between Logan and T’Challa. If you want to know what’s fueling this feud check out Wolverine and the X-Men #24.

WOLVERINE Creator On Credit, Royalties and Hugh Jackman

Wolverine creator Len Wein says he’s received more royalties from The Dark Knight Trilogy that all the X-Men movies combined. The legendary writer creator Wolverine in Incredible Hulk #181. When Wein relaunched All-New, All-Different X-Men in the early 1970’s he co-created Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus and made Logan part of the revamped team.

 

But it’s an important supporting character in the Batman family that’s meant more checks!

The Wolverine is THE Wolverine movie fans have craved. Director James Mangold takes the elements of the classic Chris Claremont story to let Hugh Jackman give his best performance yet as the fan favorite X-Man.

 

Logan is mourning the loss of Jean Grey (after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand) living as a loner in the woods, renouncing violence and haunted by dreams of his painful past.
