Alexander is small but courageous with mighty dreams. The six-year-old boy from Everett, Washington lives with cystic fibrosis. Alexander fights this life threatening condition but for one day he had an adventure to take his mind of his illness.

 

Alexander got a hero’s salute this weekend thanks to Make-A-Wish volunteers and members of Comic Book Characters For Causes. I couldn’t believe it when I read it back in New Avengers. Doctor Strange and Tony Stark turned on Captain America – wiping his memory and kicked him out of the Illuminati – Marvel’s secret cabal of heroes trying to save our universe…no matter the cost.

 

It’s one of the biggest story elements from Jonathan Hickman’s first year on Avengers and New Avengers. Now it all comes back to Steve as Original Sin shakes the Marvel Universe.
