It’s a super romantic triangle but it’s the fans who could be swooning or heartbroken.

In The New 52 Superman is not married to Lois Lane but in love with Wonder Woman.

Could DC Comics be splitting up the super couple to put Lois and Clark back together?

It all started with the iconic kiss in Justice League #12. Even non-comic book readers were asking, “what about Lois?!”

Convergence will be a major event in 2015 featuring heroes and villains from decades of DC continuity. The nine-week event will include 20 two-part stories set in these multiple worlds including this one starring Superman and a pregnant Lois Lane by veteran Man of Steel writer Dan Jurgens. The Man of Steel kicks off 2015 with a new suit and more.

DC Comics revealed Superman #38 will see an all-new look for Kal El.

The extra-sized issue by Geoff Johns, John Romita Jr. and Klaus Janson will conclude the team’s first arc ending with a “new costume, new powers and new friends and enemies.”

Superman will be sent on “a new path” and “Clark Kent will be forced to make a shocking decision.”

The Return of Superman featured a radically different electric blue Superman. When the Man of Steel debuted in The New 52 his costume was altered to not have the red briefs over blue – similar to the Man of Steel movie.

We will see the new look in Superman #38 on February 5.

Batman and Robin writer Peter J. Tomasi is taking on DC’s ultimate power couple next. Tomasi and artist Doug Mahnke will be the new creative team on Superman/Wonder Woman starting with issue 13 in November.

“I want to stare hard into the heart of both of these characters and their true love and see what that love means to us, the DC Universe and the people of Earth,” Tomasi tells USA Today. “Does it pose a danger or a threat? If two people like that are together and in love, where is the drama in that, and what repercussions does it have?” Continue reading BATMAN AND ROBIN Writer Takes Over SUPERMAN AND WONDER WOMAN
