Geoff Johns, John Romita Jr. and Klaus Janson wrapped up their arc with huge changes for the Man of Steel including new powers, a new costume and a big revelation to a member of the cast.

GEOFF JOHNS SUPERMAN GOODBYE

DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns made a major announcement following a long-awaited, status changing chapter of Superman this week.

Johns announced Superman #39 would be his last on the book. This week’s issue saw Kal-El demonstrate a new power, debut a new costume and reveal his identity to a longtime supporting cast member.
