DC Comics shared a look at Superman/Wonder Woman #28.

Early on in The New 52 era,  now single Superman fell in love with Diana.

As The New 52 era comes to an end, death is stalking the Man of Steel.

Exposure to Apokolips’ fire pits in JUSTICE LEAGUE: DARKSEID WAR, the A.R.G.U.S. Kryptonite chamber from “Savage Dawn” in SUPERMAN, and his battle with the would-be god Rao in JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA all combined to a death sentence for Kal-El.  With Super League, Superman is on a quest to seek heroes from across the DC Universe to continue his role as humanity’s protector.
