The WONDER WOMAN comic book is getting a new writer. G. Willow Wilson of the Emerald City is taking on Diana of Themyscira.

DC Comics revealed  Wilson will be the new WONDER WOMAN writer. DC publisher Dan DiDio’s surprised fans on DC All Access. Two big moments in Wonder Woman: Year One by Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott.

The Wonder Woman DC Rebirth began with two stories alternating each issue: this origin story by Rucka and Scott and a modern day story The Lies by Rucka and Liam Sharp.

In Year One, Diana joined Steve Trevor in the world of man. Diana used her super powers to help stop a terrorist attack. Fans saw Diana deflect bullets, lift a tank and communicate with animals.

In just under year we will be cheering for the Amazon Princess as she finally hits the big screen in her own standalone film.

For now we can behold the first trailer for Wonder Woman presented by Warner Brothers at San Diego Comic Con.

Gal Gadot is Diana of the Amazons who finds Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and is soon on an adventure off her mythical island and into World War I.

Action, mythology and even humor. Director Patty Jenkins takes the DC comics icon from page to film.

Chris Pine has reached an agreement to join the DC Comics Movie Universe as Steve Trevor according to The Wrap. Warner Brothers has not made an official announcement yet.

Pine will star opposite Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman with possible sequels as part of the deal.

Patty Jenkins is directing the solo film starring the Amazon warrior following Diana Prince’s debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Will Star Trek’s Chris Pine beam down to Earth for Warner Brothers and DC Comics Wonder Woman film opposite Gal Gadot.

Pine is in talks to join the project as Steve Trevor according to Variety although the studio did not comment. Patty Jenkins is directing the solo film starring the Amazon warrior.

In comics Steve Trevor was U.S. Army Intelligence officer who crashed on Paradise Island in World War II. Diana rescued him, nursed him back to health and followed him back to America. In modern continuity Trevor is Diana’s government liaison officer and with the Justice League on behalf of the United Nations. Steve falls in love with Wonder Woman but is humiliated when she chooses Superman.
