GREG RUCKA Launches CYCLOPS Ongoing

Young Scott Summers is blasting off in a new series by Greg Rucka.

 

It was revealed in All-New X-Men #23 that Christopher Summers (aka the space pirate known as Corsair) is alive. Summers was believed to be killed by his own son- Gabriel (aka Vulcan) in the X-Men: The Rise and Fall of the Shiar Empire. Scott left the All-New X-Men to join his father’s adventures in space with the Starjammers.

Spinning out of All-New X-Men, the younger and more innocent original Scott Summers is charting out a new course for himself in Cyclops #1 by Greg Rucka. The young Scott learned his father was alive in The Trial of Jean Grey. Now Cyclops will join Corsair and Starjammers in outer space adventures while catching up on long-lost father/son time. In The Trial of Jean Grey the Shi’ar have kidnapped Jean to stand trial for her crimes as the Phoenix. This is the original Jean from the past who never became the host for the malevolent entity who wiped out a Shi’ar battle cruiser, consumed a planet causing a supernova that killed billions of lives.

 

Brian Michael Bendis is weaving this incredible crossover in the pages of All-New X-Men and Guardians of the Galaxy.
