Now it’s really feeling like the Force is with us! This is sure to excite Star Wars fans.

J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company’s Twitter shared this photo with a greeting “Hi from the workshop.”

The director and his team are joined by R2-D2. Is this a hint that the famous droid will be part of Star War VII?

Shooting is scheduled to begin next Spring. No official casting yet.

Star Wars was my first film to see on the big spring as a little kid and I actually had a droid factory play set but none could be the dependable R2.

The new Star Wars comic book series from Dark Horse Comics is thrilling fans with new stories set after events in Star Wars: A New Hope. Leia is flying X-wings and uncovering Imperial spies. Luke is flirting with another pilot. Han and Chewbacca are on a secret mission. Writer Brian Wood reveals Han Solo is the most fun to write in an interview with Comic Book Resources.

“It’s kind of fun writing him being a dick and with his sarcasm and banter back and forth with Chewbacca,” Wood said and it’s easy to hear Harrison Ford’s voice in his head.

STAR WARS Inspired Pickup Line

One of my favorite moments at Fan Expo Vancouver this past weekend was this robot ready for romance!

When you think of protocol droid C3PO you may not immediately jump to thinking of him as “ladies man.”

I wanted to share this cosplayer’s clever pick up line inspired by the greatest sci-fi movie of all time. At Fan Expo Vancouver over the weekend this Star Wars fan sported the goldenrod droid’s look with this sign:

“Ladies, this is the droid you’re looking for!”

No word on if he made a connection!

The actors who played Darth Vader (David Prowse) and young Boba Fett (Daniel Logan) were among the celebrities greeting fans. I’m sure this 3PO was in line!

For more cosplay from Vancouver here’s a link to day one and two.

Harrison Ford Storms Off Jimmy Kimmel Over STAR WARS

Like the Millennium Falcon speeding through an asteroid field – Harrison Ford dodged Star Wars sequel questions from “devoted” fans in the audience at Jimmy Kimmel Live. Ford was promoting his new film 42 the Jackie Robinson story but Jimmy’s plan to stage a Star Wars reunion backfired and Ford left the set.

Take a look:

You can watch more of Ford on Jimmy Kimmel Live on YouTube. The Force wasn’t with Jimmy on this mission to get scoop from Ford but we enjoyed a hilarious moment!
