Chewbacca #1 Sometimes you get what you wish for! At a Marvel Emerald City Comicon panel, I asked for a Chewie solo book even if the word balloons were just grunts and growls. I think we’ll see more from writer Deadpool writer Gerry Duggan and artist Phil Noto as Chewie gets a new sidekick on a new planet but familiar Imperial trouble.

New Avengers #1 Hanging out on Avengers Island with a rebel team (Sunspot, Cannonball, Squirrel Girl, Wiccan, Hulkling, Hawkeye and Songbird) by Al Ewing and Gerardo Sandoval. SPIDER-WOMEN Announced at NYCC

Marvel announced Spider-Women at New York City Comic Con,

Jessica Drew, Gwen Stacy and Cindy Moon are all staring in brand new one issues as part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.

All three heroines will meet in a crossover event in 2016.

The original creative team (Jason Latour, Robbi Rodriguez) return for a new volume of  Spider-Gwen teasing the story of the Goblins on that Gwen Stacy’s world.

SPIDER-GWEN Swings Back

The breakout star of Spider-Verse will survive Secret Wars to swing again in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now this fall.

This Gwen Stacy is the Spider-Woman of her world in the Marvel multiverse and inspired a devoted fan and cosplay base.

The creative team will be back and ready to reveal even more about this new heroine and her secret history with Gwen, Peter Parker and the Osborns.

SPIDER-VERSE Becomes A WARZONE

A huge week for Spidey fans keeps getting bigger.

Spider-Man will appear in a Marvel Universe film and a new Spidey movie is being developed with Sony and Marvel working together.

Now comes news the ongoing Spider-Verse event will spin into Secret Wars: Warzones.

The fan-favorite Spidey event that’s already inspired three spinoffs: Spider-Gwen, Spider-Woman and Silk, will be one of the warzones of Battleworld.
