After months of speculating the future of Robin is definitely more exiting and maybe a little more clear after DC Comics big announcement.

After all DC books take a break in April and May for the Convergence event, 24 new books will launch including Robin, Son of Batman and We Are Robin in June. We also know which books are not coming back after hiatus including Batman and Robin. Writer Peter J. DAMIAN: SON OF BATMAN Back to the Future

Damian Wayne LIVES again…in a possible future.

 

Artist Andy Kubert returns to the world he co-created with Grant Morrison in Batman #666 in which an adult Damian is the Dark Knight of an apocalyptic Gotham City.

 

Bruce’s son was killed as a casualty of war between the Dark Knight and Damian’s mother, Talia Al Ghul. It was part of Morrison’s endgame since taking over Batman.

Damian Wayne Returns

Love him or hate him…Damian Wayne is coming back to the DC Universe (sort of.)

 

The most recent Robin was born in the Batman arc, Batman and Son by Grant Morrison and killed this year in Batman, Incorporated. Damian was the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul.

 

Damian: Son of Batman was announced by the New York Post. The story returns to the possible future created by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert in Batman #666. Superstar artist Kubert will write the new story with art by Andy Clarke. Continue reading Damian Wayne Returns
