Is Daniel Craig’s famous blue trunks swimsuit back for his latest James Bond adventure?

Empire Online revealed this photo of Daniel Craig on set filming Skyfall. Cast and Craig filmed at the rooftop pool of the Four Season London. You may remember Craig sporting blue trunks as he emerged from the surf in the Bahamas in Casino Royale

New Skyfall and Daniel Craig Photos

Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Berlin premiere

While Daniel Craig is promoting The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo across Europe his James Bond co-stars and crew are busy working on Skyfall.

The team filmed in London’s Trinity Square and Whitehall. MI6 captured Dame Judi Dench, Rory Kinnear, and Director Sam Mendes on set.

This may be Dench’s final appearance as M. The plot description is that “a secret from M’s past comes back to haunt her” and there are rumors that Ralph Fiennes is playing an MI6 agent that will become the Bond’s new boss. Kinnear plays M’s support staff member Bill Tanner.

Dench took over the role of M in Pierce Brosnan’s first 007 film Goldeneye. You can see more photos here.

Skyfall Theme Song Suggestion

The latest James Bond film is under production. Daniel Craig returns in Skyfall in November. The search is on for the artist to perform theme song. When I first heard this I immediately thought “this is such a James Bond song.”

“Love is Found” is by the one and only Sade is from the Ultimate Collection. When I was lucky enough to finally see Sade in concert last year I was convinced this would made an excellent Bond theme song. Producers will opt for a brand new composition but I humbly submit this song as an inspiration.

Movieweb is reporting based on an insider at EON productions that Ralph Fiennes will be….

SPOILER AHEAD!

IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHAT MIGHT BE A MAJOR PLOT TWIST STOP HERE!

SERIOUSLY!

NO I MEAN IT!

….replacing Judi Dench as the new M, head of MI6.

If this is true, it would fit with the film’s official plot description of “M’s past comes back to haunt her.”

Remember how her top agent/bodyguard was revealed to be a Quantum mole in Quantum of Solace? Not a good track record.

Ralph Fiennes Reveals James Bond Role

Ralph Finnes reveals his passion for Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels and a little about his role in Skyfall.

“I used to be a complete nerd about the books and the detail in them. They are fantastic,” Fiennes tells the Daily Record.

“There was Fleming’s obsession different kinds of caviar and champagne. He kind of fetishes these things.”

The casting of Fiennes shook and stirred Bond watchers since Javier Bardem was hailed as the villain so who is Fiennes playing?

“I’m allowed to say that I’m a government agent.” Fiennes said. Thanks to MI6 for the lead.

Perhaps the character will be part of “M’s past back to haunt her when MI6 comes under attack?”

  Bond Versus Bardem!

I’m thrilled for any new Bond film but the fact that Javier Bardem is playing the villain in Skyfall just skyrockets the cool factor and excitement level.

I wanted to share what came up on StumbleUpon via Cracked! A hilarious look what makes a Hollywood good guy or bad guy with Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem at the top of the hair color chain.

New James Bond Film Like Goldfinger

Goldfinger is the gold standard for many James Bond fans. The third movie has the most iconic villain, henchman and Bond girl – Auric Goldfinger, Oddjob and Pussy Galore. Those three roles along with the thrilling pre-credit sequence, Shirley Bassey theme song and Q’s car – in a way set the blueprint for future Bond movies.

Producer Michael G. Wilson teases that 007’s next adventure Skyfall will have  “magical 1960’s feel.”

“Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig are taking it back to a 60’s feel – more Sean Connery. I think that’s what the fans wanted,” Wilson tells The People.

“There’s a magical Goldfinger feel surrounding it all,” Wilson added and also teased that he’s trying to get all six Bond actors together to mark the film’s release and the franchise’s 50th Anniversary in 2012.

Thanks to NME for the Wilson interview. In an earlier post – Craig discussed why he wanted Sam Mendes as the director for Skyfall and the Bond films they both enjoyed.

Daniel Craig talks about the production on the new 007 movie Skyfall while doing promotion for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Craig says working with Director Sam Mendes “a dream situation” and “…the cast is stunning. I’m on the set, you know, with Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench…Javier Bardem turned up the other day. I couldn’t be in a better place, we couldn’t be in a better place. Sam is doing an amazing job. The movie looks great. There’s going to be everything you want from a Bond movie…(laughs)just like I’m selling it doesn’t it, and more.”
