The X-Men movie franchise is jumping into a new decade – one that was a blockbuster era for the comic book.
The current trilogy is leaping through the decades. First Class was set in the 1960’s in the heart of the Cold War. Days of Future Past was set in the 1970’s during the Nixon era and reset the timeline. X-Men: Apocalypse rises in 1983 in this summer’s sequel.
Producer Simon Kinberg confirmed the next film will time jump again:
“The next one is set in the ’90’s” said Kinberg according to ComingSoon.
