A shocking Batman confession that rocks the comics canon.

Writer Tom King gave a huge twist to the core of Batman’s origin and revealed the true meaning of the current arc I Am Suicide.

In Batman #12 we read a letter from Bruce Wayne to Selina Kyle. The confession reads as we follow the Dark Knight’s battle through Bane’s forces. The revelation adds a big shift to the moment Bruce decided to become the Batman and possibly his relationship with enemy/ally/lover/enemy Catwoman. In Catwoman Volume 5: Race of Thieves Selina Kyle enters a contest to become the world’s best thief.

Selina is outgunned against more super powered criminals but she still has edge. The globe-trotting arc is now collected in the latest volume out this week.

Race of Thieves was part of Ann Nocenti’s to push Selina Kyle in new directions. The former Catwoman writer was part of the DC Comics team at Emerald City Comicon for Batman 75th.
