Marvel reveals the map of Battleworld from the upcoming Secret Wars event of 2015.
After multiple teasers of multiple classic storylines, events and alternate worlds – Marvel revealed the new Battleworld as the setting for the new Secret Wars.
It’s the culmination of Jonathan Hickman’s epic 2 year+ Avengers, New Avengers run. After attempting to save Earth from “incursions” from other Earths in rival dimensions do our heroes fail? Is this event the result of “Everything Ends.”
You can see the domain of Apocalypse (from the Age of Apocalypse epic) and The Monarchy of M (from House of M event) plus some surprises “nations” like New Quack City – a reference to Duckworld – home of Howard the Duck?

The X-Men Revolution leader is the wild card in the latest chapter of Time Runs Out set in the near future before Secret Wars.
But with writer Jonathan Hickman there are no wild cards in his elaborately plotted epic that began with Avengers World and building up the comics event of 2015.
While the Avengers been battling the Builders, Thanos and A.I.M. – the Illuminati (Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Black Bolt, Beast, Namor) have committed unheroic acts (brainwashed Steve Rogers, destroy other planets) to save Earth from incusions from other Earths in the Marvel multiverse. The action jumped into near future with heroes vs. heroes, unholy alliances and an array of classic Marvel weapons like the Ultimate Nullifier. The plan goes way back to when writer Jonathan Hickman took over the adventures of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Illuminati.
It all leads to Marvel’s big event of 2015 when heroes from multiple Earths clash in Secret Wars.
Time Runs Out is playing out in a near future with heroes vs. heroes as the final Incursion is coming to smash Earth out of existence.

It began with a teaser for a brand new Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic with a spectacular image by Alex Ross.
What followed what an onslaught of Summer 2015 teasers hinting of revisits to classic stories and events like Planet Hulk, Age of Apocalypse, Armor Wars, Civil War and House of M.
This week came the Everything Ends teaser for Spring 2015 implying a big bang ending and rebirth.

As Hickman counts down to the finale of Avengers, New Avengers: Time Runs Out – it sure looks like the heroes fail to stop incursions from rival Earths destroying the Marvel 616 homeworld – leading to the birth of a big new epic.

Marvel released the latest (and last?) teaser image that began with Secret Wars followed by teasers for returns of iconic events and stories like Civil War, World War Hulk, House of M, Age of Apocalypse and ends with Everything Ends.
All the previous teasers were for Summer 2015. Everything Ends teases Spring 2015.
Secret Wars is a new event by Jonathan Hickman and Esbad Ribic following Hickman’s run on Avengers and New Avengers where a running theme is Everything Dies as the Illuminati struggle to save Earth from incursions from rival Earths. The Inhumans conquer the Marvel Universe?
After releasing teasers for tied to events and stories of the past Marvel reveals a possible all-new story for 2015: Inhumans: Attilan Rising.
Medusa, Black Bolt, Gorgon and NuHumans like Inferno standing triumphantly over Cyclops, Captain America, Thor and Superior Iron Man.
