Earlier today the fan-favorite and multiple Eisner award-winning writer announced he would be leaving the X-Men franchise with Uncanny X-Men #600 this May.

When Secret Wars hits Battleworld is born.
The Inhumans are in the heart of the conflict in Inhumans: Attilan Rising by Charles Soule (Inhuman, Uncanny Inhumans) and artist John Timms.
“One of the ideas behind ATTILAN RISING from the start was to put Medusa, Black Bolt, Reader, Iso, and other characters from INHUMAN into a new context,” Soule told Marvel.com. “That’s part of the fun of an event like Secret Wars. Things don’t have to be the way we’re used to seeing them.
“My initial concept was ‘life during wartime,’ looking at the Inhumans from almost a World War 2 French Resistance type of angle. The relationships we’re used to seeing will be different in this story. The cataclysmic event is the finale of Jonathan Hickman’s Avengers/New Avengers run.
It’s the end of the Ultimate Universe. Two architects of that groundbreaking line return for the finale 15 years after the birth of the line.

We pondered the future of Marvel’s First Family once it was announced the Fantastic Four book will end this April. We believe just because the book and team will end can the beloved members move on, go their separate ways and join other Marvel teams and franchises?
