2018 Pacific Northwest Geek Guide

There’s something in the air and water – or maybe it’s all the tech? We have an abundance of cons for comics, sci-fi and anime that bring thousands and thousands of fans together in the Pacific Northwest. We even get to the chance to see cool new exhibits (Yes, that’s Spidey swinging across Seattle! Big news below!) and celebrities ready to greet their devoted fans.

2018 will bring a major comic book experience along with anticipated events to bring out the geek in all of us. Mark your calendars. Here’s our geek guide for 2018 in the Pacific Northwest: Continue reading 2018 Pacific Northwest Geek Guide

A Guardian of the Galaxy touched down in Seattle for Sakura-Con this weekend.

Check out this Groot cosplayer at the big celebration of anime, manga, gaming and more at the Washington State Convention.

On the heels on Emerald City Comicon, Sakura Con invaded Seattle. The three-day anime celebration brought outrageous cosplay and thousands of fans to Seattle. I love this shot of Ghost Rider. He must have been so exhausted from ECCC the previous weekend that he just stuck around!

My friends at SeattlePulp.com (who publish my weekly Top 5 and other stories) and photographer Josh Lewis captured all the fun. Here’s the link to day 1 and day 2.

Seattle, we still have Crypticon, Zombcon, Geek Girl Con and Jet City Comic Show, I LOVE this geek filled city!
