New Comics Picks for December 16, 2015

As we count down to Christmas there’s a sleigh full of new comics at your local comic book shop this week including two new books based on classic sci-fi films, a bloody showdown between heroes in Robin War and let’s kick it off with the the rise of Wonder Woman when the Justice League fall prey to ultimate power.

Justice League #46 The second wave of Darkseid War rages on! After a spectacular turn of events (Darkseid dead and replaced Lex Luthor?! This one-shot by Tom King marked the return of The Court of Owls and reunion for Damian Wayne, Jason Todd, Tim Drake and Dick Grayson.

As readers quickly learned – this story is more than a battle between all the heroes who carry the famous name…it’s a war on Robins by a secret enemy.

Robin War could mean the end for the kids of We Are Robin all tied to a government act that could have an impact on all heroes of entire DC Universe.

ROBIN WAR Teases DICK GRAYSON’S Future

Robin War broke out in Gotham City this week. This one-shot by Tom King kicked off a crossover that saw the return of the Court of Owls and a return to a famous role and code-name for Dick Grayson?

The streets of Gotham are filled with an army of teen vigilantes all calling themselves Robin but the past and current Robins (Jason Todd, Damian Wayne, Tim Drake and Grayson) are back in town.

The original Robin, Dick Grayson became Nightwing and most recently faked his death, gave up his masks and code-names to become an undercover agent in Spyral in his new series Grayson.
