The final creative team of Marvel’s ResurrXion X-Men 2017 lineup revealed.

Marvel announced the Cable team will be writer James Robinson and Carlos Pacheco. The son of Cyclops, original leader of the first X-Force and X-Men veteran returns with a new ongoing solo series after a villain changing the timestream. Weapon X is back. The new book is not what you think. It’s forcing deadly rivals to form an alliance against a new threat to mutants.

Marvel revealed the cast and creative team behind the new Weapon X series as part of the ResurrXion initiative.

The Weapon X program is back with a new mission and leader.

Old Man Logan and Sabretooth will recruit a new counter strike team including Lady Deathstrike, Domino and Warpath to stop them.

Greg Pak and Greg Land will reunite for their first X-book since X-Men: Phoenix: Endsong more than a decade ago.

ICEMAN Creative Team Revealed

Iceman gets his own comic book as part of the X-Men ResurrXion revamp in 2017.

Marvel revealed the creative team via Nerdist for Bobby Drake’s first solo ongoing series.

Writer Sina Grace and artist Alessandro Vitti and cover artist Kevin Wada will craft the new adventures of adult Iceman in the upcoming series.

Bobby’s younger self (along with the original Xavier students) was brought into the present. Young Bobby came out of the closet during the Brian Michael Bendis X-Men run. X-MEN GOLD And BLUE New Leaders & Changes

The X-Men evolve in 2017 with big changes. Marvel announced the team lineups and creators behind X-Men: Gold and X-Men: Blue.

After a year of fighing for survival against an extinction-level threat and the Inhumans, Xavier’s students are back to being super heroes for everyone.

Marvel revealed more information about the next stage for the Children of the Atom including new team leaders, returning X-Men, a classic character with a new code-name and old school villains.

Let’s go for the Gold first:

X-Men: Gold by writer Marc Guggenheim and artist Ardian Syaf welcomes Kitty Pryde back to Earth and to the mutants after her time in space with the Guardians of the Galaxy. X-MEN Annual Reveals ResurrXion Origin?

ResurrXion is the big X-Men even in 2017 following Inhumans vs. X-Men.

But is the seed of ResurrXion and savior of a doomed mutant race found in this week’s Uncanny X-Men Annual #1?

Over the years, Annuals seem like bonus issues that may be good reads but not critical to an ongoing or future storyline.

You may want to run back to your comic book shop if you skipped this issue thinking “it’s just an annual.”
