THE GIFTED Twin Revelations

A blast from X-Book comic book past hits THE GIFTED.

The X-Men television series on Fox teased the past of the Strucker family and the obsession of an anti-mutant scientist but fans got a major payoff this week.

When Andy and Lauren Strucker manifested mutant powers they went on the run with their parents. The Struckers found refuge with the Mutant Underground. They are all being hunted by Sentinel Services. THE GIFTED X-MEN’s CHOICE & POLARIS’S New Mutants

Two X-Men who have got a raw deal in comics are breakout characters in THE GIFTED.

Thunderbird/John Proudstar died on the team’s second mission. Polaris/Lorna has been possessed, de-powered, left at the altar, gone insane and learn she’s Magneto’s daughter.

MUTANTS For THE GIFTED For Your Consideration

Fox’s X-Men franchise evolves with a new television series featuring characters from comics canon.

The Gifted will feature the adventures of a family on the run after the parents learn their children are mutants. Lauren and Andy Strucker and their parents will encounter some familiar characters from comics: Lorna Dane/Polaris, Blink and John Proudstar/Thunderbird/Warpath and a new character called Eclipse.

What other mutants from the X-Men canon could appear in the upcoming show?
