A big news weekend for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans got even bigger.

At Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel: the publisher revealed it’s recruited two comic book all-stars for brand new S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 based on the television series.

 

Writer Mark Waid (Daredevil, Captain America) with artists Carlos Pachecho, Alan Davis, Chris Sprouse and more to come.

CLARK GREGG At SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2014

Clark Gregg manages to fight evil Hydra agents and super villains on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and write and direct his own film.

 

The Seattle International Film Festival just revealed a surprise addition to the 2014 lineup.  SIFF favorite Clark Gregg will return to Seattle with Trust Me, a “biting satire about life in Hollywood and the struggle to keep dreams of greatness alive.”

 

Gregg plays Agent Phil Coulson on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and in The Avengers and is a frequent collaborator with Joss Whedon. Gregg brought his directorial debut, Choke, to SIFF 2008 after winning the Special Jury Prize for Ensemble Cast at the Sundance Film Festival. AMY ACKER Joins AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. As Coulson’s Cellist

Amy Acker (Angel, Person of Interest) joins the Marvel Universe as a woman from Agent Phil Coulson’s past.

 

You may recall Coulson telling Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) about a cellist from Portland, Oregon in Iron Man and The Avengers.

Bill Paxton AGENTS OF SHIELD Episode Preview

Bill Paxton guest stars on the next Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. following this week’s huge episode in which a cult classic comic character was born and a member of the team went down.
