Marvel shared a look at Adam Kubert’s art from Origin II #3. The limited series explores Wolverine’s early life long before he became an X-Man. The untold tale of James Howlett does include one of the X-Men’s greatest enemies. Nathaniel Essex (the corrupt scientist will become Mister Sinister) who joins Victor Creed in the story by Kieron Gillen (Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Young Avengers.)
All-New Invaders #1 The classic World War II team reunites against a new enemy. Captain America, Winter Soldier, Namor the Sub-Mariner and the original Human Torch vs. the Kree Empire in a race to keep the aliens who unleashing a super weapon. James Robinson and Steve Pugh are the creative team but check out this “Then & Now” variant by John Cassaday.

Origin II explores more of the tortured past of the young man who would grow up to be the X-Man known as Wolverine.
Writer Kieron Gillen (Uncanny X-Men, Iron Man, Young Avengers) talks about where his story will pick up 10 years after the events of Origin.
“The last we saw of James was disappearing into the woods with wolves at the end of Origin,” Gillen tells Marvel.com. “That’s where he’s been ever since. He runs with a family pack, and has completely removed himself from human civilization. He’s found a kind of peace. He’s found a kind of family. The first scene is him, with the pack, hunting. The opening is really raw; I talk about the period novel feel a lot, but I have a sort of ‘Jack London with modern research’ approach to the wolves. Origin II may be the biggest holiday gift from Marvel. Kieron Gillen (Uncanny X-Men, Young Avengers, Iron Man) and Adam Kubert will explore more of James Howlett’s untold past in a new limited series starting next week.
