The mutant/Inhuman war concludes with IvX #6 this new comic book week. ResurrXion is the aftermath with new X-books coming this Spring (X-Men: Gold, X-Men: Blue, Weapon X, Jean Grey, Iceman, Cable, Generation X) while All-New Wolverine and Old Man Logan will continue.
A double shot of Old Man Logan by Jeff Lemire in two books this week with one deadly mission revealed.
Old Man Logan lived in a future where the villains banded together to wipe out the heroes and rule the planet. Wolverine was tricked into killing his fellow X-Men but he found refuge and happiness in a desert wasteland until a savage gang of Hulks slaughtered his family.
The Wolverine of Mark Millar’s future tale returned in Secret Wars and is now in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now reality just a few years from the horrific future he escaped.
