Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine one last time in an upcoming follow-up to The Wolverine.

Jackman will re-team with director James Mangold for the last film with the claws and chops.

The actor is giving fans a chance to share their thoughts on his final performance as the X-Man.

Jackman shared this image via Twitter and Instagram with the invitation:

Kitty Pryde joins Logan on his final adventure in Death of Wolverine #3 by Charles Soule and Steve McNiven this week.

 

Logan lost his healing factor, his enemies on the attack and his quest leads him to Japan to face one of his most powerful foes.

 

“This issue is very concerned with questions of acceptance of one’s mortality. The villain who shows up here is someone who ties thematically into those ideas very strongly—one of my long-time favorite Wolverine baddies, in fact. I think Steve and co. did an incredible job creating a Wolverine who’s fatalistic, but still up for a fight.” Soule told Marvel.com. Who should Logan take on in a possible sequel to The Wolverine?

 

The X-Man’s solo adventure in Japan is coming out on Blu-Ray. Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold are in talks for a possible sequel. Part of the film’s success is how it took inspiration from what fans may consider THE ultimate Logan story by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller.
