Jason Aaron is plotting a cosmic level murder mystery this summer affecting the entire Marvel Universe. Who killed the Watcher is the burning question at the heart of Original Sin.
Uatu will be found dead on the moon with his eyes cut out and all his secrets stolen.

 

Marvel shared art from the prologue Original Sin #0 by Mark Waid and Jim Cheung in which we see the ancient alien interacting with Nova. Announced at New York Comic Con – an all-new New Warriors goes on patrol in the All-New Marvel Now in 2014.

“Evolution has gone off the rails. There’s super humans, mutants, Inhumans, Atlanteans, clones, alien hybrids, demigods—humanity’s future is no longer certain as the dominant life form on the planet. The war that’s being waged now is one of ethnic cleansing, so to speak; someone wants to save humanity by killing everything else.

Gerry Duggan will go from writing Marvel’s most violent bad guy to its freshest face. Duggan co-writes Deadpool with Brian Posehn but aims for the stars when he takes over Nova. Duggan’s first issue will be Nova #100 to commemorate 100 total issues over all the volumes of Nova books.

 

Sam Alexander has met the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Watcher and the Chitauri. What will Duggan throw as the teen?

Glenn Close in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY?

If Samuel L. Jackson is the ultimate law enforcement authority on Earth as Nick Fury in The Avengers then Glenn Close could be his counterpart…in outer space!

The acclaimed actress (Damages, Fatal Attraction) is the front runner for a major role in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy according to Deadline. The story claims Close would play a leader in the Nova Corps, an intergalactic police force.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the story of Peter Quill (alien father, human mother) who becomes Star-Lord and leads a team of aliens in space faring adventures. If the presence of the Nova Corps is true this could mean Marvel is planning a film based on the Nova comic book.
