Marvel officially announced a new Deathlok ongoing book spinning out of this summer’s Original Sin event.

 

Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) became Deathlok on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this past season.

 

The new Deathlok will co-star in Original Sins #1. The first issue of the new anthology series is out now.  The Deathlok ongoing will be by writer Nathan Edmondson (Black Widow, Punisher) and artist Mike Perkins (Captain America, The Stand, Astonishing X-Men.) NATHAN EDMONDSON On BLACK WIDOW, PUNISHER Crossover

Nathan Edmondson launched two All-New Marvel Now series starring two of the deadliest characters in comics. This August the missions of Natasha Romanoff and Frank Castle collide in a two-part crossover. The story happens in Black Widow #9 and Punisher #9.

 

“Frank and Natasha are a really interesting pair to combine together: on the one hand, they seem to exist in the same kind of heroic/antiheroic space in the Marvel Universe, but at some point the similarities stop and the disparity begins, and the tug and pull between those two ends will be at play here,” Edmondson told Marvel.com. Black Widow #2 is lean, clean, quick storytelling just like Natasha on a deadly mission.

 

After a killer debut issue – writer Nathan Edmondson and artist Phil Noto knock it out of the park with another adventure starring the fan-favorite Avenger…not being an Avenger.

PUNISHER Goes West, Becomes The Prey

The Punisher is back but now he’s the hunted! Marvel announced Nathan Edmondson and Mitch Gerads will launch a new Punisher series as part of the All-New Marvel Now in 2014.

 

Frank Castle is heading west to Los Angeles to take down a gang but learns he’s the target of a mysterious group.
