ADRIANNE PALICKI & NICK BLOOD In AGENTS OF SHIELD Spinoff

Marvel and ABC are reportedly planning a spinoff of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood are in talks to headline the new series according to Deadline.

Palicki joined the cast this season as Barbara “Bobbi” Morse known to comics fans as Mockingbird. Blood played mercenary Lance Hunter. Both characters were new recruits by Phil Coulson and quickly became fan favorites.

Morse started out as Coulson’s mole within Hydra but turns out she’s really working for “the real S.H.I.E.L.D.” a rival unit led by Edward James Olmos. The events of this season and Avengers: Age of Ultron would play into the set-up for Morse and Hunter getting their own series. MOCKINGBIRD, AGENT OF HYDRA OR SHIELD?

Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) is coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but is she really working for Hydra.

 

In comics Morse is an Avenger who once married Clint Barton (aka Hawkeye) but she’s Hydra security chief in the upcoming episode.

 

Marvel revealed new details on Adrianne Palicki’s first episode and a hint on her character’s true allegiance. Here’s the official description of the fifth episode:

Producers of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. throw comic book fans for a loop with this revelation.

 

Adrianne Palicki is joining the series this season as Bobbi Morse but she’s very different from her comic book counterpart.

ADRIANNE PALICKI Joins MARVEL’S AGENTS OF SHIELD

Marvel announced Adrianne Palicki is joining the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Bobbi Morse aka Mockingbird.

 

No word on if Morse will be a ally or enemy as Agent Phil Coulson and his strike team rebuild after the Hydra takeover.

The cast and creative team of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were saluted by fans at the Marvel Television Presents Panel at San Diego Comic Con.

 

Lucy Lawless will join the series as S.H.I.E.L.D. veteran Isabelle. Hartly.
