WHO SURVIVES ULTIMATE END UPDATE

Miles Morales will survive Secret Wars and join the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now but will any other Ultimate Universe heroes swing over to the main new Marvel this Fall?

Marvel revealed Morales will star in a brand new  Spider-Man by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli and be on the All-New, All-Different Avengers when Secret Wars ends.

Ultimate Spider-Man original team Bendis and Mark Bagley are crafting Ultimate End, the five-part limited series tied to Secret Wars that is the final Ultimate story.

New SPIDER-MAN Star & Director

A huge week of Spider-Man news continues as Marvel and Sony reveal the star and director of the movie reboot.

Tom Holland (The Impossible) is the new Peter Parker. Jon Watts (Cop Car) is directing.

Here’s the official Marvel announcement:

“Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are proud to announce that after a full worldwide casting search, Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man film, in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017.  The film will be directed by Jon Watts, director of “Cop Car,” the upcoming thriller that made its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. MILES MORALES Moves to MARVEL UNIVERSE in SPIDER-MAN

Miles Morales swings into the main Marvel Universe this fall as the new Spider-Man for the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.

Following up on this weekend’s story in the New York Daily News, Marvel reveals this official announcement with new comments from co-creator Brian Michael Bendis:

Miles Morales will survive the end of the Ultimate Universe to star in a brand new Spider-Man book  by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli.

Morales will be the Spider-Man of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now this fall following Secret Wars. The broke via the New York Daily News.

“Our message has to be it’s not Spider-Man with an asterisk, it’s the real Spider-Man for kids of color, for adults of color and everybody else,” Bendis told the New York Daily News of his creation and the move to the main Marvel Universe. NEW SPIDER-MAN MOVIE REBOOT

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige untangles the web of rumors about the upcoming Spidey reboot.

Sony and Marvel reached an agreement to share the fan-favorite hero. Spidey will first appear in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film then Marvel and Sony will work together on a new Spider-Man film for 2017.
